Marcel Kuehlert, LL.M. (Hanover)

Marcel Kuehlert, LL.M. joined the law firm Nikol & Goetz as a research assistant in September 2021. He works closely with the lawyers of the firm on all data protection related matters.

Prior to joining Nikol & Goetz, Marcel studied law at the Leibniz University in Hanover. This is also where he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law. During his LL.M., he chose Data Protection Law, eCommerce Law and Media Law as a particular study focus and addressed a data protection related topic in his master thesis. As part of his studies, he also spent two semesters at the University of Lapland (Finland) and one semester at KU Leuven / Campus Brussels (Belgium).

Marcel is currently conducting his legal clerkship at the the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe.
