Marcel Kuehlert joined Nikol & Goetz in September 2021. He initially worked as a research assistant and has held the position of Associate since January 2024. He advises clients comprehensively on matters of data (protection) law.
Marcel studied at Leibniz University Hannover, where he also completed an LL.M. programme in Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law. During his studies, he spent two semesters at the University of Lapland in Finland and one semester at KU Leuven in Belgium.
He completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, which included a traineeship with the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) in Bonn.
