Simon Baehr is a certified Data Protection Officer and joined Nikol & Goetz in April 2025, focusing on data protection and data law.

He studied law in Freiburg and Grenoble (France) and gained early international experience through a human rights project in Accra, Ghana. His legal training included placements in the legal department of a global scientific publisher and the administration of a major German city.

Prior to joining Nikol & Goetz, Simon practised as a lawyer at a boutique firm, advising clients in German and English. He also has practical experience in board-level roles and legal advisory work for organisations in the cultural and sports sectors.
